*EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH 6 SENSE*
OK-MUSICTV: Great to have you with us on OK-MUSIC TV:REAL TALK !. First question,
Why the name "6 SENSE?"
6 SENSE: ''Thanks for having me preciate ya'll reaching out! Why the name 6 Sense? That has become a common question. 6 Sense stuck with me after a close friend suggested it to me. Everyone has 5 sense's, so I took music as a 6th sense thats how I got the name 6 Sense''.
OK-MUSICTV: What made you turn to music?
6 SENSE: “Honestly it started as a daily hobby at the time it was the cool thing to
do. With that being said it was a passionate hobby if that makes sense? I’m
in a different world when it comes to writing, recording, promoting,
etcetera (natural high). It was and still is something I use to relieve
stress. I seen my gift was worth more than a hobby, and decided to make a
career of it. A career I felt I would definitely pursue and succeed in”.
OK-MUSICTV: Being in January 2010, you released your debut EP ALBUM "11:40AM", What
made you name the EP that?
6 SENSE: ''I had released previous albums as a memeber of a local group ''The Crusades''. But this album was the debut of my solo career. So I chose 11:40am which is my time of birth. So the album pretty much symbolized the begining of something great to come''!
OK-MUSICTV: What does your family and associates think about your music?
6 SENSE: ''I can't really answer that question specifically. Far as family, and close friends I get great feedback etc. I can tell you one thing though they do believe in my ambition. So far as I'm concerned that's all that matters''.
OK-MUSICTV: Who are your BIGGEST influences when it comes to music and the things
you do?
6 SENSE: ''My wife & kids are without a doubt my biggest influences for the simple
fact they believe in my constant grind. They also understand the time I
have to spend away from them and know it will pay off one day. I simply
want to make them proud”.
